Who The Heck Is Kris Darty – And Why Is His Mug On My Blog!?
Pinky, you give a whole new meaning to the phrase, “counter-intelligence.” You have the I.Q. of plaster. The Brain
Kris Darty has become a phenom of internet marketing, because no one is really sure why, how, or what he’s done to create a massive following, there is something intriguing. What he did do, was watch, listen, trust, and take massive action.
The main aspect of Kris’ success is based in content marketing – this is from his mentor David Wood. So who better for ME to hunt down and latch onto, than Kris? I watched David Wood’s article marketing bootcamp way back when it came back (I think)… so I bought all kids of tools, did a ton of things and then came across a guy named Kris Darty.
We sat down last week after I visualized an interview with Kris Darty. We have known each other in online circles my whole time online, and that’s TWICE his time online.
Because I want to be an epic internet marketer, I study those that create buzz.
So I met Kris when he had JUST started, he was starting this online deal, and messing around online with some crazy ass ideas. Crazy ass ideas are really great to get started with. I have an affinity towards Kris as we’ve had similar experiences, because we came from different places, with different faces, different everything, and still he and I like to be straight up about who we are.
So how have I been able to get Kris on an interview when everyone else is watching him on fifty hour webinars, on calls rambling on, trying to chat him up on facebook, harassing him for “the secret”?
Because I HUNTED HIS KRIS DARTY DOWN, we are sort of kindred spirits, and I was relentless and incessant in my approach. In short, if I want something, I get it.
I say “Incessant” A Lot – What Does It Mean? Is it a BAD word?
Incessant means to continue without pause or interruption. That’s what I do, and that’s why he’s in this video. Usually it’s unpleasant and I agree that’s the case in most situations. Because I choose to in my opinion, it’s only unpleasant to me when I stop without success.
Counter-Intelligence and the Enigmatic Power of Kris Darty
We’re not the FBI. So don’t worry – we’re not gathering information about you that we can use against you. Although that would be cool (mental note).
What I mean by counter-intelligence, is that the process and content that Kris puts out on his blog, or in his videos, is against what we would think is an intelligent approach to marketing or “business”.
Usually we think that we need to be “professional” or “clean cut” because that’s what society believes. Well that’s not the case in the internet niche. So with a guy like Kris Darty, having the ability to talk about anything except the actual topic you want him to talk about is the absolute key!

Is That Me Or Kris Darty Coughing ?
Have you ever watched a video that was sooo “perfect”?
It’s cool when they’re out there, edited, with music in the background, visceral footage and language, really perfect. They get you, you can’t look away, and if someone breaks your focus, you want to throw a wet winter boot at them.
This isn’t one of them.
We were up until around 1:43 am the night before, we threw this discussion together as I thought I was going to “interview” Kris Darty. What ended up happening, is we got off track (as we do), and ended up disecting what’s going on in the internet marketing niche, but it’s really about what we’re not saying that I like about the video.
This is the post that got Kris Darty noticed by David Wood — if you’re thinking of understanding interesting and viral content, this is a good one to read.
Here’s my suggestion to you. When you’re blogging, be yourself, be interesting. Look and see what you want to read or watch when you’re relaxing, and try and create that for your readers. Learn from me and Kris Darty.
